The Merkava (“chariot” in Hebrew) serves as the primary tank platform for the Israeli Defense Forces. First introduced in 1979, it has seen four main variants deployed. This intricately detailed Heng Long RTR RC model replicates the Mark IV version, the first modern tank designed without a loader's hatch in the turret roof to minimize the risk of anti-tank guided missile penetration. Its unique drive system is specifically engineered to reduce track shedding in the challenging basalt rock conditions of Lebanon and the Golan Heights. Over six hundred MK IV variants have been supplied to the IDF.
This Upgrade version incorporates steel gearbox and plastic tracks, striking a balance between durability and weight, and features a highly effective, realistic torsion bar suspension. Heng Long has been producing RC tanks since 1986, offering the perfect entry point for newcomers to the exciting world of RC tanks. All of Motion RC’s Heng Long 1/16 scale tanks are equipped with the latest TK 7.0 MFCB (Multi-Function Control Board) for exceptional control, performance, playability, and upgrade potential!
Features:
- Latest Generation TK 7.0 Multi-Function Control Board (MFCB)
- Proportional acceleration, steering, turret traverse, and gun elevation/depression
- Programmable radio settings for the amount of recoil, the sensitivity in turns, the overall sensitivity in acceleration, high speed/ low speed modes, etc.
- Smoke effect (On/Off)
- Headlights and Brake lights (On/Off)
- Volume (five settings including Off)
- Four different sound sets. Each contains a unique engine start, idle, accelerating, traverse, elevate, machine gun, cannon firing, and shutdown sound
- Track Recoil (Three settings from low, medium, and high) -This shudders the tank briefly rearward to simulate recoil when firing the main cannon
- Fires a 6mm plastic BB (10 meters with minimal accuracy and limited velocity, but should still be treated with caution and with adequate eye protection)
- Fires an invisible IR signal to be used as part of Heng Long's Infrared Battle System, which disables other tanks when hit five times during simulated combat. Up to 20 tanks at the same time can battle each other!
- Independent suspension on all road wheels

We try to ship your order within 1 business days after receiving the order. On average, it takes 1-7 business days for the package to transfer from our warehouse to your doors. We only ship to most areas of Canada and the United States. We DO NOT ship to other countries in the world.
Order are typically shipped via Canpar Express, UPS or Canada Post. In rare situations, additional shipping charges are required in certain areas. Massimo Precision will contact you if there are additional charges to discuss options and billing before the unit is shipped. All orders will ship out from our GTA warehouse.
No shipping to P.O. Box address. If the order is shipped out and returned, customers have the responsibility to pay for any extra fees.
